When we look back on 2020, this is what we want to remember! We had no intention of taking the van through 9 states this year (or working full-time from it!), but life had other plans for us. We’re also so happy we got to take Frankie along with us. Here’s to creating more special memories in 2021! We’ll post more from our travels next year, maybe. 😆 🚐💁🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️🐶

Happy Saturday! Here is our attempt at a family picture - How did we do? 😂 This was taken at the first lake on the Blue Lakes Trail. This was the last big trail we hiked in Colorado. It's safe to say we picked a great one!

We’re definitely not famous for being beautiful. Spent a good 20 minutes at Palo Duro Canyon today because we thought we were going to run out of gas. At least we took some pretty photos! 🤣

Hope you guys had a happy and safe 4th! And if you don’t live in the US, we hope you are having a great weekend. We’ve got big news - we’re taking off in our campervan, Frank the Tank (named after our dog/child, Frankie!) in a couple of days! Check out our YouTube video below to see the finished product! We’ve been reflecting on our travels a lot lately, and it’s really helped us appreciate where we went last year even more. Here we are in Rome at our friends’ wedding in August 2019. This was the last stop of our year-long trip around the world. It was a beautiful way to celebrate the end of an era and the beginning of a new one - the shift to going home to figure out what’s next. 2020 has brought more good than bad - a new job, new friends, new coworkers, and a new project (the campervan that we will use later this year!). We are looking forward to the adventures to come, and we hope you are doing the same. ❤️

Happy Friday! If there is any post that makes us smile no matter what we’re going through, it’s this one! There were so many sweet dogs in Chile, and this beautiful fur baby was definitely one of our favorites! This dog just ran up to us asking for some love after a very long and rigorous hike in Pucón. What a perfect way to end the day! 😍❤️🐶

Going through old travel photos is bringing us comfort (and laughs) right now. This huge alien bug landed on Preston’s nose when we got to the highest point of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Preston is the only person who wouldn’t freak out about a creature sitting on his nose. He just sat there and laughed! ❤️

It’s easy to feel helpless when we are so far away from what’s going on in Australia right now. It’s also hard to believe we were in some of these areas just a year ago 😢.
