THANK YOU to everyone who came out last weekend! There were record numbers of people in attendance and I loved all of you stopping by my table to say how much you'll miss me! Don't worry, I'm not falling off the planet yet! I have a bunch of orders to work on and maybe a show or two next year to wrap things up??? ;) I'll keep you posted if I'll be anywhere, but if you need something, you know where to find me!

People often ask me to make a strap for them in “the regular length”, and I chuckle a bit. There is no regular! People are all shapes and sizes and the strap length you need is specific to you. It depends on many things: 1) your height, 2) your width, 3) what you plan to wear(layers?), 4) how you’re going to attach the strap to a horn/bag and lastly, 5) where you want you horn/bag to hang. If you have a fabric tape measure, that’s the easiest. Measure yourself over the shoulder, making sure to go across your back, not just around the neck. It’s always better to go a little longer than shorter. If you don’t have a fabric tape measure, use some string to get the right length and then measure that with a ruler/yardstick. Health issues and surgery have slowed me down these past few months, but I plan to have as many straps as possible ready for The Gunmakers Fair at the end of the month! I believe this will be my last show. I’ll keep working as long as I have materials. It’s been a great 15 years! Thanks to all of my great customers and friends!
