Update: The VTA is pleased that Transit Connection has reached a tentative agreement with ATU Local 1548, averting any service disruptions.

The agreement provides meaningful wage increases for our drivers while remaining financially responsible to the communities we serve and our funding partners. We appreciate the work of everyone involved in reaching this agreement, which is now subject to ratification by the union membership.

Getting around the Island shouldn't be complicated, and we work every day to make sure it isn't.

Every VTA bus comes with a ramp or lift and a kneeler that lowers to the curb. There's a secured space on board for wheelchairs and mobility devices, plus priority seating for anyone who needs it.
