Field Service Technician for the Electroplating Industry

Position: Full Time
Salary: Starting pay $14+ depending on experience

Duties include, but not limited to:
* Performing production work in shop
* Servicing equipment in shop and on the road
• Performing maintenance work for customers on location
• Fielding customer phone calls and questions
Our ideal candidate will have experience and/or training in some of the following areas:
• Electroplating
• Mechanical Skills
• Technical Skills
• Milling
• Electrical Skills
• Customer Service
• Field Service
Requirements:
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instruction
• Excellent literacy, time management and verbal communication skills
• Able to think on your feet and make critical decisions
• Can work on your own AND as part of a team
• Self-starter, but willing to ask questions when necessary
• Conscientious and careful, detail oriented
• Problem solver
• Flexible-ability to wear many hats as necessary
• Skilled on computer-Proficient in Word/Office a plus
• Reliable vehicle with a good driving record and proof of insurance
• Must be physically able to stand/walk/sit/kneel for extended periods of time
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Good close, distance and color vision
• Provide resume and references
• Must pass math proficiency exam
• Will require occasional evenings, weekend, and out of state work
Helpful, but not required:
• Bilingual
• Experience with inventory management
• Customer service and sales experience
• Chemistry and Electrical knowledge
Work Environment:
Safety is our top priority. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to hazardous materials, machinery, and high voltage. The noise level in the work environment may be moderate-high when performing installations. Technicians must adhere to strict safety requirements and instructions, and wear all proper protective gear.
