The new Cherry Hill Path is officially open — and it’s already being put to good use. Thanks to City of Dunwoody - Government for continuing to invest in these quality of life, multi-generational projects!
This past Sunday, a group of about 35 residents gathered for a ribbon cutting and informal community ride to check it out. The mix of walkers, riders, families, and neighbors gave an early glimpse of how the space will be used going forward.
Projects like this often seem small on a map, but their impact shows up in how people move — and how they interact. A short connection can change routes, create options, and make everyday trips a little easier and more comfortable.
Thanks to Dunwoody Police Department for being present on bikes and helping keep things running smoothly, and to Piccola Pizza for supporting the event with food for participants.
The Cherry Hill Path adds another piece to Dunwoody’s growing network of local connections — linking neighborhoods and expanding options for getting around outside of a car.
