🚃 Heading downtown this weekend? Give the new trolley route a ride!

🗺️ The 910 Main Street replaces the 909 About Town beginning May 1. The trolley no longer goes to Unity Park or the Children’s Museum, but focuses on the core of Downtown Greenville. Greenlink says they expect this to result in greater trolley ridership.

🚏 Now, there several more stops on Main and 10-minute frequency at each stop.

🏟️ The 907 Game Day route is discontinued due to changes in parking availability, but the 908 remains for Drive fans to park and ride to games. That change frees up a trolley, allowing the Main Street route to keep rolling, even during games.

🕚 910 Main Street Operating Hours
Friday: 5 to 10 p.m.
Saturday: 1 to 10 p.m.
Sunday: 1 to 8 p.m.

🚍🌎 More buses, more green space.

🌳 When there’s no alternative to the car, we’re forced to build and expand our roads, often at the expense of parks, forests, and natural spaces.

🌿 A better transit system provides options beyond the car, reducing demand for road expansion and allowing us to keep Greenville green, no matter how much we grow.

📈 We talk a lot about Greenville growing, but the truth is that the entire state, and especially the Upstate, is booming. With all of that growth, we need new ways for people to get around the region.

🚍 In 2024, Upstate Mobility Alliance, now a part of Greenville Connects, studied how three new routes connecting Clemson and Spartanburg to Greenville could provide hundreds of jobs, new economic growth, tourism revenue, and mobility to the region.

✈️ Soon, the first phase will be implemented in Greenlink’s upcoming SkyConnect route to GSP Airport.

🤔 If these routes became a reality, where would you go first?

*These are not Greenlink’s expansion plans, but rather data-backed suggestions created by UMA and a steering committee of community stakeholders.

🙌Today, we tagged along with Greenlink to a rider orientation at Overture Greenville, a 55+ community. Riding the bus can be intimidating at first. From planning trips to requesting stops, there's a lot to learn. That's why resources like these matter so much for new riders.

🚍 When driving is no longer an option, transit keeps people in our community engaged, active, and independent without the cost of Ubers or the burden of asking friends for rides.

🤔 New to transit? Greenlink offers passenger orientation classes monthly. Reserve your spot at GreenvilleSC.gov/1288/Passenger-Orientation!
