At just 13 years old, J.C. Blurton made history at Memphis in May and is proving that passion, dedication, and hard work have no age limit.

Grill brush recall alert. Walmart just recalled 4.5 million Expert-brand metal grill brushes because the bristles can come loose. That brings 2026 recalls to about 21.5 million brushes across Walmart, Nexgrill, Cuisinart and Weber. If you run a commercial kitchen, a catering crew or a competition team, check your gear today.
Brisket check. USDA put Choice brisket at about $300/cwt on Oct 2. Price your fall and holiday catering with that in mind.
