As Ecommerce continues to grow so does the need to grow our team!

Our privately owned company contracts with FedEx Ground for delivery and pick up of FedEx packages. We are hiring delivery personnel for various shifts for* Full Time, Part Time or Anytime*. Any and all schedule options can be discussed. We do operate 7 days per week so schedules will be filled on an as hired/as needed basis.

We use a routing software with iPads in each of the delivery vehicles. Therefore, knowledge of the area is certainly a plus but not a requirement. This software helps anyone getting started navigate their route very efficiently. (After training of course)

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Start each day at 8:00 am and work until finished. Each day will vary depending on package availability.

• Conduct a pre and post trip inspection of the vehicle you will use for the day to assure safe operation

• Operate a company owned vehicle in a safe and efficient manner

• Capable of using a scanner to record delivery of packages (A simple process learned in training)

• Capable of lifting, moving, scooting up to 150 lbs with a hand truck

• Safely and Efficiently load your truck each day in and organized fashion

• Be capable of working both as a team player and independently

Job Qualifications:

• MUST BE 21 years of age

• MUST have a clean criminal record and clean MVR

--No license suspensions

--No DUI’s in 10 years (Reckless driving 5 years)

--No Cell phone moving violations

--No recent speeding over 15 mph

• Must Pass a drug screen

• Pass a DOT physical exam

• Valid drivers license is a MUST

--Any license in Illinois will work Class D to Class A (NO CDL REQUIRED)

--Missouri License Class E or greater

• 1 year commercial driving experience in the last 3 years. Driving experience may include but not limited to any of the following:

--Pizza Delivery

--Parts Delivery

--Construction

--Farm Vehicle

--School Bus Operation

--Any time you operated ANY vehicle for any reason outside of personal use for a job (Even Personal vehicle operation)

• Fully Paid Training

• Paid time off

• Paid Holidays

HELP WANTED: I am looking to fill multiple driving positions that consists of pick up and delivery of packages working with FedEx Ground out of the facility in Effingham, IL. We are looking for full time and part time.

We are in the middle of our busiest time of year and it doesn't seem to be letting up any time soon. FedEx has informed us that we will be taking on more business in the coming months. We have done nothing but continue to grow at such a quick rate the last 10 years we have hardly kept up. Looking to fill positions asap.

This is a very active and physical fast paced job that involves heavy lifting. We are looking for the right candidate willing to accept the challenge of working with the always growing and adapting eCommerce world.

We carry, move, lift, shift, scoot, etc up to 150 lbs. A typical work day will start at 7:30 and you will work until done. Most days done and back by 5ish. We typically work 5 day work weeks but for a short while we will be working 6 days (Mon-Sat) Nov. 15- Dec 25 is a mandatory 6 day week. Any part time available is whenever you are available any days Mon-Sat.

Candidate Requirements:

***Potential Driver MUST BE at least 21 years of age

***MUST HAVE at least 1 YEAR previous driving experience in either a COMMERCIAL or FARM use vehicle (That's at least 12 months within the last 36 months)

-Must have a clean criminal record and no drivers license suspensions within the last 10 years. Along with a clean driving record.

-Must be capable and willing to obtain a Class C Non CDL license if you don't have one already. It is not mandatory right away, we can work with you on this as long as the driving experience is good.

***Must pass a DOT physical if you do not have a current medical card

-Must pass a pre-employment drug screen along with yearly randoms
