Today, Mark Anton Airport welcomed Middle Tennessee State University as part of its Teacher Workshop Flight Experience, giving educators from Rhea County the opportunity to experience aviation firsthand.

Programs like this help connect teachers with the world of aviation, allowing them to bring new perspectives and real-world experiences back to their classrooms. We were proud to host this unique educational opportunity and appreciate MTSU for choosing Mark Anton Airport.

✈️ More than 30 children from RC3 Summer Camp and local Civil Air Patrol cadets recently visited Mark Anton Municipal Airport for Airport Explorer Day!

Participants toured several aircraft, learned about aviation, and even had the opportunity to sit in the pilot's seat.

A special thank you to the pilots and volunteers who helped inspire the next generation of aviators. We love sharing the excitement of flight with our community!

I just wanted to let those who did not know the great news that I am your 2025 Tennessee Airport Manager of the Year. Thank you all for all the wonderful support you have shown me as well as my airport. I am blessed to have a wonderful community who supports the airport and all the events we put on. We actually brought a real aircraft to down town Dayton TN. Come out tonight from 5 to 8 for the annual Dayton TN Christmas Stroll and stop by to see a WW2 era Globe Swift at the intersection of 1st Ave and Market St. We have treats for everyone and if you dare play the Christmas Carol Mashup game to win a free t-shirt.
