I just wanted to let those who did not know the great news that I am your 2025 Tennessee Airport Manager of the Year. Thank you all for all the wonderful support you have shown me as well as my airport. I am blessed to have a wonderful community who supports the airport and all the events we put on. We actually brought a real aircraft to down town Dayton TN. Come out tonight from 5 to 8 for the annual Dayton TN Christmas Stroll and stop by to see a WW2 era Globe Swift at the intersection of 1st Ave and Market St. We have treats for everyone and if you dare play the Christmas Carol Mashup game to win a free t-shirt. So sometimes I have an idea that just does not catch on, but this one is so good I cannot let it go unnoticed. Please help me honor as many WWII veterans as possible by submitting a picture of your loved ones and we will add them to our tribute video to be displayed on our mega screen for the Wings on Display WWII Airport Day. Help me spread the word on this project by sharing this post with everyone you know. My goal is to honor over 200 veterans with their pictures. Also, it can be group photos or even just pictures of the aircraft, ships, or tanks. Let's all pull together and make this great. Thank you all for your help!!!

It was so much fun hosting the boys and girls of RC3 Summer Camp yesterday for their field trip out to our airport. Over 30 kids and they were so well behaved and full of questions. I love getting a chance to work with the kids and hopefully spread some inspiration to our future aviators!!!

Sometimes my job can be really awesome! A fire fighting Chinook joined the Mark Anton HELIPORT today for a splash of gas and to wait for weather to pass. Days like today at our little airport are what I love. Don't laugh at the video they almost had to add an airport manager on the side of this beast!

Got a face-lift of the terminal building with a new copper penny colored roof. JDH company did a fantastic job and got this project done quickly. If you have not ever visited the Mark Anton Municipal Airport in Dayton TN then you are missing out. Stop in for an amazing experience of small town charm and a friendly atmosphere.
