My name is Christiana Chembars, and I'm so glad you're here!
I'm a 30-something wife to the most incredible husband (Cody) and mom to 5 of God's greatest creations- Grace (11) Reagan (9) Oliver (8) Joseph (5) and Shepherd (almost 2!)
I have always loved traveling, new experiences, and creating lifelong memories, but my passion for travel started when I was 18 and went on a mission trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. In 2010, Cody and I went on a 3 month mission trip to Kenya and Tanzania, Africa. We got a taste of traveling the world, and decided it was for us! As a family we have been traveling since 2013 - our first trip was a roadtrip to New Jersey when our oldest daughter was just 6 weeks old! Since then, we have been all up and down the east coast with our children, and have now ventured on MANY cruises to places like Roatan, Honduras, Cozumel + Costa Maya, Mexico, Nassau, Bahamas and Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. We have plans of eventually traveling the globe with our kids, homeschooling and ministering as we go immersed completely in other cultures and experiences!
Many years ago, I started helping other families find deals on cruises or hotels/flights simply because I wanted them to get the same great deals I scoured the interwebs for! Then, in 2023, Cody and I decided I should venture into professional travel planning - and Anchors Away was born.
Since then, I've helped dozens of folks with their vacations and have since specialized in cruises and all-inclusive vacation packages.
