I create custom t-shirt quilts using your favorite t-shirts. This is a perfect way to save and display your favorite high school, college, sports, camp or concert tshirts. These make perfect gifts for yourself, kids or special someones. They make perfect graduation, wedding, anniversary and birthday gifts. You can also have memory quilts made from baby's first clothes.
You provide the t-shirts and tell me what you want. You choose your fabric color choices to be used for sashing, bordering, backing and binding such as school colors or favorite colors and let me know of any special request which you may have and I will be happy to design a special one of a kind quilt made just for you.
You can have your t-shirt cut all one size or you can have the blocks custom cut to the logo sizes with sashing and bordering added. I use a stabilizer for each t-shirt square to prevent stretching.
You can use the front and/or back of the t-shirt but each side counts as a block.
I can also make custom pillows made from smaller scraps such as pocket designs etc.
You can also add pictures to your quilt for an additional fee. If you want pictures added to quilt, message me and I will provide details for emailing photos or sending with the t-shirts and I will scan and download to apply to your quilt.
This quilt is made just for you the way you want it! Below are suggested sizes for numbers of t-shirts used. With custom cutting to the individual logo sizes and with using additional fabrics for sashings and bordering, I can work with the number of t-shirts that you have to make your quilt the size that you need. Charges will be added for extra fabric and batting when enlarging the smaller number of t-shirts up to the larger size quilts. Pieced squares and working with special articles of clothing may cost extra depending on what is needed. Please message me with any questions and an estimate.
Throw/twin size 12-16 blocks = $150 - $250
Full size 20-24 blocks = $250 - $350
Queen size 26-30 blocks = $375 - $450
