I have an HOA looking for a Santa Clause in December. Anybody have contacts for a good Santa? Thank you!

A quick service with the fabulous horses Andy and Woodrow. Andy is our 37 year old man who always has a bounce in his step.

I sincerely hope no one takes this song too seriously and gets offended. I love The Smiths and Morrissey (yes, I know he would hate me, but he hates everyone 🀣). I am biting the bullet and using the song. I hope everyone enjoys it.

I just want to thank everyone who showed us their love in the last couple of days. You have no idea how much you all mean to us. I mean this most sincerely. It literally brings tears to my eyes how highly people regard us.

I am so thankful - everyday. For our family, for our animals, for our work, for our house, our animals, our friends, good food, beautiful books, art, music, lively conversation, nature. You name it, I am thankful for all of it every single day. However this thankfulness also reminds me of the responsibility and the pressure to keep these things in our lives. I think its my biggest fear - of losing something I most love - which is everything listed above.

George and Iver got home safely. We had two funerals yesterday, we got them done. It was indeed the fan clutch that went out - not a head gasket on our truck. We may have to replace some injectors though - time will tell on that.

With the donations received (I cant believe how generous people are in this economy. Thank you.) It covered the returned check for the funeral and the parts to replace the fan clutch. I shut the donations down, because I dont want to appear greedy. I know a lot of people are in our same situation. I hope people know that we are always willing to help when needed as well. Please never hesitate to ask.

Below is a quick video Iver took as our procession was approaching. I buried a mother yesterday. Her son rode with me. What an amazing person. I can't explain how much our work means to us. He spoke to me of his mother, his love for his family, his work, his thankfulness in life. The stories of people and their families is one of the greatest gifts we get in this business. And I thank everyone for allowing us to do this work. We dont take it lightly. It isnt all about the money, however we do need money to survive. But if we could do it for free, we would. Just to see and meet the amazing people who use our services. We have so much love going into what we do and we get it 100 times back.

And for that, I love each and everyone of you for that. You have no idea how much we love you for loving us back.

Eternally thankful.

There is a story behind the shirt George is wearing. George, my husband - the driver, was a rodeo clown/bull fighter back in the day. This shirt is close to 35 years old and was custom made to fight bulls in the rodeo ring. Its actually Purina feed fabric from a friend who had a feed store and gave him some fabric to make this shirt.

When I was in the initial video call with Zeljko with cfemihrvati, he was showing us the flag and the red and white checks. And how he wanted all these flags, red and white checkers everywhere. George ran to his closet to show him this shirt that been hanging the back collecting dust. I swear, that shirt, in addition to my sparkling personality πŸ˜‰πŸ˜, sealed the deal. And we have made life long friends. My family may hail from πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄, but we now have a huge affinity for πŸ‡πŸ‡·.

I love how photos and videos keep pouring in.

We lost our ac yesterday. Heat index of 119. Aga is put to pilot, can't cook. Welcome to the life of cereal and sandwiches. 🀣 But seriously working outside and not having a cool place to take a break really sucks. Our pool is so hot. Needs like 20 bags of ice.

Iver is 6'8" (and is only 17) so he makes Woodrow look normal sized. Woodrow follows Iver everywhere. He is such a lovebug.
