Our Story
At the age of six—long before he became the co-owner of Bradfield Piano with his wife Miriam—master craftsman Holt Bradfield Deniger loved to wear his Steinway & Sons t-shirt. In fact, he rarely took it off. “The first time I played a Steinway I fell in love with the brand,” says Holt. “Before then, I’d never played a piano that had such depth in the touch and tone, and the moment my hands made it to the keyboard I knew this was the beginning of a lifelong love of Steinway pianos.”
In 2006, Holt became an apprentice technician at Steinway Hall Dallas. Studying under six world-class technicians, he honed his craft, and in 2010 was invited to attend the Theodore Steinway technical school at the Steinway factory in New York City.
In 2013 and again in 2014, Miriam was given the same prestigious honor of being invited to attend the Theodore Steinway technical school at the Steinway factory in New York City where she honed her elite skill as an action regulation specialist.
For over ten years, Holt, Miriam and the Bradfield Piano team, have authentically rebuilt, tuned, and repaired countless Steinway and other premier pianos.
