Before there was Duncan, there was Pedro Flores. Donald Duncan bought him out in 1929, along with the trademark for yo-yo (which eventually became a generic term). In 1954, Pedro Flores launched a second yoyo company called the Flores Corporation. But it was a flop, because it was really Duncan's promotional abilities that made the yoyo so successful. This is a full set of the jeweled Flores version from the 1950s that someone contacted us about, and we just got in the mail today. Looks like they've never been used at all!
