A couple years ago, I made an for my friend , without having precise measurements 🫠

I wanted it to be a surprise but learned my lesson that wearables can’t be surprises - they require way too many adjustments and try ons! The dress was way too big when I made it, but then I steamed it and it got twice as big!

SO, I took it back these years later and remade it into a short sleeved sweater that fits her wardrobe much better. This time we had MANY try ons and many adjustments based on preferences.

This is the last time I try making a wearable item without the person around! 🤦🏻‍♀️ it turned out really simple and cute, and versatile!

This pattern was an absolute NEED for me as a fishkeeper! What will I put in it?! I’m not sure, but it’s coming with me to the fish expo - Aquashella - this weekend to hold my keys and phone!

This was a fun make and I learned a couple things in this one pattern! 1) Making a 2 stitch icord, 2) Making the drawstring / cinch features 3) Jacquard Ladder Technique and 4) Kitchener stitch closing method!
