Heavy equipment transport takes a lot more planning than most people realize.

Moving oversized construction and industrial equipment is not just about putting machinery on a trailer and heading down the road. Every shipment requires route planning, secure loading, weight distribution analysis, permit coordination, and compliance checks before the truck ever leaves the pickup location.

Whether it is an excavator, dozer, crane, loader, or other oversized machinery, choosing the correct trailer is critical. Depending on dimensions and weight, the move may require an RGN, lowboy, or step deck trailer to ensure safe and compliant transport.

For many heavy haul shipments, routes also have to be reviewed for bridge restrictions, low clearances, state permit requirements, and possible es**rt vehicles. Missing one detail can create major delays and safety risks.

At Titan Worldwide Logistics, we coordinate heavy equipment transport across the United States for industries like construction, energy, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. Our team focuses on proper planning, experienced carriers, compliant transport, and consistent communication from pickup through delivery.

Heavy haul and oversized freight requires experience, attention to detail, and the right equipment to get the job done safely.

184,000 pounds of industrial equipment rolling down the highway is not your everyday shipment.

Titan Worldwide transported a forge press from Southington, CT to Cleveland, OH using a 14 axle specialized trailer configured for extreme weight distribution and OS/OW transport. The unit measured 20 feet long, 8.9 feet wide, and 8.9 feet tall, with a total transport weight of approximately 184,000 pounds.

Moves like this involve far more than just loading freight and driving from Point A to Point B. This shipment required multi-state permits, es**rt coordination, police es**rts, route planning, and bridge law analysis to keep the move compliant and safe throughout transit.

The forge press was headed to support a company in the metal forging and manufacturing industry that produces precision forged components for industrial and commercial applications. Equipment like this is critical to large-scale production operations, so secure handling and reliable delivery matter every step of the way.

With concentrated weight loads, axle placement and trailer configuration become a huge part of the strategy. Our team coordinated routing, compliance, securement, and communication from pickup in Connecticut through delivery in Ohio.

Heavy haul transport is all about preparation, compliance, and ex*****on when the freight pushes the limits.

Power only trucking is one of the most efficient ways to move trailers when the freight is already loaded and ready to go.

We recently coordinated a power only move involving a customer-supplied trailer that needed to be transported between locations without any transloading. The setup required matching the right tractor to the trailer type, confirming secure hookup points, and verifying weight distribution to ensure safe transit.

For moves like this, details matter. Trailer condition has to be checked before pickup, connection points must be compatible, and the driver needs clear instructions for both pickup and delivery. When loads involve heavier equipment or specialized trailers, routing and compliance also come into play to avoid delays on the road.

Power only transport is commonly used across construction, industrial, and oil and gas operations where trailers need to be repositioned quickly to keep projects moving. It eliminates unnecessary handling and keeps the process streamlined from start to finish.

At Titan Worldwide Logistics, we focus on proper planning, experienced carriers, and clear communication to make sure every power only load is handled safely and delivered without issues.

Not every heavy haul move is cross-country - sometimes it’s all about getting specialized equipment where it needs to be, safely and efficiently.

Titan Worldwide transported a directional drill mounted on a Komatsu PC130LC-11 from Loomis, CA to Stockton, CA to support energy and infrastructure work. The unit measured 36.4 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, and 11 feet tall, weighing in at 42,700 pounds.

This setup required the right trailer configuration to handle both the length and weight distribution. We ran it on an RGN with 29 feet in the well and an additional 6 feet on the rear deck to properly position the machine and maintain stability during transport. The driver handled both loading and unloading, which takes precision when dealing with equipment like this.

From pickup to delivery, the focus was on proper securement, DOT compliance, and staying aligned with local routing conditions through California. Moves like this may be shorter in distance, but they still demand the same level of planning and ex*****on as any heavy haul job.

Not every load is massive in weight, but when it is wide, it still takes the same level of planning.

Titan Worldwide transported an AGG batcher from Tompkinsville, KY to Sun City, AZ to support ongoing industrial equipment operations. The unit measured 17 feet long, 11.3 feet wide, and 10.2 feet tall, weighing approximately 35,000 pounds.

That 11.3-foot width made this an oversize load, which meant permits, routing, and compliance across multiple states had to be handled correctly from the start. A step deck trailer was used to keep the height in check while allowing proper placement and securement of the unit.

From pickup in Kentucky to delivery in Arizona, this move required coordination around state-specific regulations, route restrictions, and safe transport practices. The load was secured with chains and binders in accordance with DOT standards, and communication stayed consistent throughout the entire haul.

Moves like this are a good example of how even mid-weight freight can still require full heavy haul transport planning when dimensions push past legal limits.

Most people think trucking is just picking up freight and delivering it.

Reality is, that’s the easy part.

Trucking logistics is everything happening behind the scenes to make sure that load actually moves without problems. Route planning, choosing the right trailer, coordinating pickup and delivery times, checking compliance, managing drivers, and staying on top of updates the entire way through.

When you are dealing with heavy equipment, oversized loads, or time-sensitive freight, there is zero room for mistakes. One bad decision on routing, permits, or equipment can delay a project or cost serious money.

This is where real logistics matters.

Trucking logistics is used every day for construction equipment, industrial freight, oil and gas shipments, agriculture, and expedited loads that cannot sit around waiting.

At Titan Worldwide Logistics, we handle the planning, coordination, and ex*****on so our clients do not have to worry about the moving pieces. The goal is simple - move freight efficiently, safely, and without surprises.

Sometimes freight just cannot wait.

That is exactly where hot shot trucking comes in. When a jobsite is down, a machine is waiting on a part, or a project is on a tight deadline, hot shot transport can move smaller loads fast without waiting on a full truckload schedule.

Instead of a traditional semi, hot shot freight typically moves on a heavy-duty pickup truck with a flatbed or gooseneck trailer. This allows the load to move directly from pickup to delivery with no terminals, transfers, or unnecessary delays.

Hot shot trucking is commonly used for things like construction equipment, oilfield parts, industrial machinery, agricultural components, and other time-sensitive freight that needs to move immediately.

It started in the Texas oil fields where critical parts had to be delivered quickly to keep drilling operations running, but today it is used across industries that cannot afford downtime.

At Titan Worldwide Logistics, we help businesses move urgent freight with reliable hot shot trucking and expedited transport services across the United States. When timing matters, having the right carrier and equipment makes all the difference.

Not your average commute through Los Angeles.

Titan Worldwide transported a Caterpillar 330 Hydraulic Excavator from a project yard in Los Angeles, CA all the way to a jobsite in Midland, TX. This unit came in at 33 feet long, 10 feet wide, 12 feet tall, and right around 60,000 pounds.

At 10 feet wide, it qualified as an oversize load, so this was not just a hook-and-go move. Multi-state permits, route planning, bridge clearance checks, and DOT-compliant securement were all part of the process. We ran it on an RGN trailer with a 33-foot well to properly manage the height profile and weight distribution.

From city streets in Southern California to open highways headed into West Texas, coordination stayed tight from pickup to final delivery. Wide load signage, compliant tie-downs, and steady communication the entire way.

Moving heavy construction equipment across state lines takes planning and experience. This one was executed clean from start to finish.

Moving a 98,000-pound service and workover rig takes more than just horsepower – it takes planning, experience, and the right equipment.

This haul started at a jobsite in Odessa, TX and wrapped up at the Port of Galveston. The cargo: a Taylor Ti500 service rig measuring 63 feet long, 8.6 feet wide, and 14.6 feet tall. Due to the height, weight, and overall configuration, this required a 10-axle specialized trailer and full routing and permitting coordination through multiple jurisdictions.

When you're moving tall, wide, and heavy equipment like this, every inch matters. Permits need to be exact. Routes need to be safe and legally compliant. And loading needs to be secure to prevent any shift during the haul.

This rig is critical to operations in the oilfield sector, so timing and handling were key. Our team handled all the logistics – from permitting to planning and final delivery at port – with the precision and accountability our clients expect.

If you're moving heavy equipment across Texas or anywhere in the U.S., we handle every load with the same care and attention.

Moving a 79,000 lb service and workover rig from Cashion, OK to Freeport, TX isn’t just about horsepower - it’s about planning, precision, and safety. This unit measured 41' long, 10.6' wide, and 12' tall, and was transported on an RGN extendable trailer with an 8-axle setup to handle the weight and dimensions.

The equipment came from a company that specializes in building, repairing, and maintaining oilfield rigs. So this wasn’t just another oversize load - it was a mission-critical piece of equipment supporting vital field operations.

Our team took care of the full route planning and OS/OW permitting, ensuring the rig made it through every checkpoint safely and on schedule. Tight corridors, rural roads, and port access points meant every inch and every axle had to be accounted for. Secure loading, DOT compliance, and continuous communication throughout the haul kept everything running smoothly from origin to destination.

This is what we do at Titan Worldwide Logistics - provide heavy haul transport solutions that deliver more than just equipment. We move what matters.

Moving oversized equipment in winter conditions is never simple, but our team delivered.

This recent heavy haul involved transporting a 52,000 lb industrial cooler from Longview, TX to a remote oilfield site in Boulder, WY. Measuring 25 feet long, 16 feet wide, and 13 feet tall, the cargo required an RGN trailer to stay within permitted height limits while maintaining proper balance and clearance during transit.

The route demanded precise planning due to limited road infrastructure in western Wyoming, seasonal weather challenges, and the load’s size. We handled all permitting, routing, and securement details to ensure safe and legal transport from pickup to final delivery.

Once onsite, coordination continued with the offloading team to ensure the cooler was safely craned into place despite icy ground conditions. This is the type of specialized freight where experience and attention to detail matter.

We specialize in complex logistics and oversize freight solutions for industries that can’t afford delays. If your project calls for wide, tall, or heavy equipment to be moved safely and professionally, we’re ready.
