Here’s a picture of my “Sugar Accessory,” or what I usually call my… “Betes Bling.” It is my medical bracelet that I wear for my heart and diabetic condition.
The funny thing is that it has my data and a phone number to call if I collapse. I tell my wife sometimes when we are out that if I fall down or have an insulin ‘crash’ for her to call the number on my bracelet.
She always replies in a humorous tone, “You nut, that’s my number, I don’t need to call it, I’m right here!”

This is a pouch that my wife bought me so that I would not lose any of my thumb drives which I put all of my writing on. I actually did lose an important ‘drive’ over Christmas, hence the (there will be a story on Sub Stack soon about this situation) present. Now, Liz and I laugh about the possibility that now that they are protected as a trio of plugs, I can lose them all at once!

Last week, on my Sub Stack platform, (Lambert’s words, Comics and Other Stories) I talked about all of the Two Morrow Publishing magazines that I collect. Well, they publish books as well. The latest one that I purchased (and am crazy about) is the historical autobiographical book written by Roy Thomas and how he got into the comic book business. The only bad thing about the book is that it only covers the first 20 years of his connection with comics, ending in 1966. By that point, he was just getting started!
Please Roy, finish the next volume quick…I can’t wait!
