The Port of Coulee City (Grant County Port District No. 4) is seeking a highly organized, self‑directed professional to serve as our next Port Manager.

This part‑time role supports the Port’s day‑to‑day operations, Commission meetings, financial processing, property management, public records compliance, and coordination with local partners and state agencies.

💼 Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing agendas, minutes, and public meeting materials
• Managing Port records and ensuring compliance with Washington State law
• Processing routine financial transactions and coordinating with the Port’s accountant
• Overseeing Port properties, leases, and maintenance needs
• Managing contracts, consultants, and small capital projects
• Supporting grants, special projects, and long‑range planning

💲 Compensation: $2,500–$3,500 per month DOE
📍 Location: Coulee City, Washington

Special 3-day Filing Period for Grant County Port District No. 4 (Port of Coulee City)

The Grant County Elections Office will hold a special 3-day filing period from July 14-16 for Grant County Port District No. 4 (Port of Coulee City), which received no candidate filings during the regular filing window in early May.

Candidates who file during this period will advance directly to the November General Election.

Offices Open for Filing in Grant County Port District No. 4 (Port of Coulee City):

- Commissioner #2 – 6 year regular term
- Commissioner #3 – 4 year unexpired term

Filing Period

The special filing period runs:

- Monday, July 14, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Tuesday, July 15, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Wednesday, July 16, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

How to File

Candidates may choose any of the following methods:

- Online (recommended) at www.grantcountywa.gov/270/Elections
- In person at the Grant County Elections Office (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
- By mail (postmarked June 30–July 16)

Candidate Requirements

- Pay the filing fee (if applicable) by credit card, cash, or check.
- Provide an email address, phone number, and campaign mailing address.
- Understand that your name appears on the official list only after fee payment and filing approval.

If no candidate files for a Grant County Port District No. 4 (Port of Coulee City) office during this special period, the office will be deemed lapsed and will not appear on the General Election ballot. The incumbent or appointed officer remains until the next regular election for that position.
