Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description:
Tucker Transportation Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for managing accounts receivable, processing payroll, and ensuring payroll tax compliance in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections
• Process payroll accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Prepare, file, and reconcile payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local payroll tax filings
• Ensure timely payment of payroll taxes and compliance with reporting requirements
• Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries
• Reconcile accounts and assist with financial reporting
• Support general accounting duties and month-end processes
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies
• Additional duties and responsibilities will be assigned or modified at the discretion of management
Qualifications:
• Accounting degree or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Prior experience in accounts receivable, payroll, and payroll tax processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with accounting and payroll software
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
• Excellent time management and communication skills
