Truck + Truck Camper FOR SALE! 🎉 (asking $30k or best offer)

Hey lovelies! I wanted to share here that my entire camper setup is up for sale. If you've kept up with my (very intermittent) posts, you know that I parked the rig and started putting down roots in Alaska in the spring of 2022, and I've now got a stable sticks-and-bricks option for housing in a community that I love, which means it's time for the camper to find its next adventurer.

It just won't do to have it parked for most of the year when I know exactly how much joy it can bring to live and travel in it!

Because I'm now located in Alaska, a few notes:

🔹️ I plan to reinstall the lithium camper batteries no earlier than May 1, because it's still cold here and I've got the camper winterized.
🔹️ Once I've de-winterized it, I'll make a very detailed posting live on FB marketplace and Craigslist, I'll share that link in my profile here, and I'll start showing the camper to interested buyers.

Lastly, but most importantly: This is an AMAZING opportunity to make an Alaskan summer adventure happen and - if you're a full-time nomad - the chance to drive back down to the lower 48 after an epic summer and see the stunning fall colors of the Canadian Rockies all along the Alcan in September. 🍁 The road trip of a lifetime, for many. ❤️

Such a dreamy visit. We saw a Christmas light display, hosted Alyssa's family for Thanksgiving, fed birds out of the palms of our hands, did a puzzle, watched Everything, Everywhere, All at Once and looked up Hotdog Hands, LLC, celebrated family birthdays, stayed up drinking wine and playing Wingspan, cooked delicious meals, put up Christmas lights, and made vision boards for each other of who we know we are and the qualities we love.

I found myself in Alyssa's home in the framed photos I took, the postcards I sent her, the trunk coffee table we built together - I have the matching one in storage. We talked, as usual, about everything. I found myself looking up real estate in Michigan because I just want to be around more often - I keep wishing I could collect everyone I love in one beautiful place, but until then I guess I'll keep traveling. 😊

This glorious human has been my best friend for an entire freaking decade. Alyssa and I have seen each other through desert life, army life, relationships that were good, bad, and ugly, career changes, and the general business of growing up. I held her hand while she was in labor, and her son was the first kiddo I instantly loved like my own. We've been neighbors, and then waved goodbye to each other as we moved across the country. We go too long without talking and then spend hours on the phone until it's 3AM and one of us is losing our voice. We both adore food, and making beautiful homes, and puzzles and travel and snail mail and reading and plants and loud family functions. We are more the same than we ever could have imagined and also perfectly complimentary in the funniest ways.

I went to visit her because I missed her, but while I was there I asked her to help remind me of who I am. I have never known a person who loved me more unconditionally, wide open and without hesitation than Alyssa, and I'm so glad that she knows me even when I feel like I don't know myself.

So if you're ever wondering why I would go to Michigan in the winter, it's because of Alyssa. 😊

Well, I'm nearing the end of an eventful season in Alaska and I can finally say that the camper is as ready for winter as I can manage! I'm super grateful for the help and support of the amazing community of folks at the lodge who helped me sort this process out.

I can now say that I've emptied and shut off the fridge, and thawed out the freezer for the first time in over 2 years! 😅 Here's to a winter season of airline traveling. I'll see the camper again in the spring!
