My answer is always no, and here’s why:

I’m more afraid of not going and living with regrets.

Traveling allows you to immerse yourself in history and culture. I’ve met some of the most beautiful people, and their kindness reminds me of all the good in the world—many of whom I still keep in touch with today.

I have faith in the journey.

In many ways, travel keeps me grounded and grateful to live in a country where the possibilities are endless if you’re willing to work for them.

I love looking back at my photos and reliving the memories. I also share my stories with my grandchildren so they can learn about different cultures and ways of life.

And honestly, I could name a thousand more reasons.

So, am I afraid to leave the country? No. I’m far more afraid of never seeing all that this beautiful world has to offer.
