Another great event today. Started out very foggy, and remained chilly most of the day. In spite of the weather, we had a lot of families join in the fun. Thank you to everyone who showed up to support what we enjoy doing, and thanks to Prysmian for having us. Hope to continue the tradition next year.

This is such a festive evening in our beautiful little town. Buggies of Grace will be providing Horse-drawn wagon rides for Mid Mo Trends Get your name on the list inside the store that evening. Get there early because time slots fill up fast. Don’t forget to stop by Studio Nova for a delicious cup of hot chocolate.

CFD Parade #1 ✅

Today’s parade was amazing the girls did really well and there was a good crowd! So happy for CFD to finally kick off and start!

We pulled a road coach called the “Tally Ho” today and it was so much fun! We had a ton of passengers and great conversations!

A little shoutout to my crew! Grammy, Poppy, my Brother, my Mom, & even the ones still at home! Thank you guys for all your help in getting the girls ready and doing whatever else needs done! There is a lot of stuff that happens behind the scenes that know one even notices. I cant thank you guys enough!

Today was a very slow rolling day. We woke up and watched some slack and then hooked the girls up this evening and took the crew for a ride around CFD.

It’s nice to have these slow days before CFD really kicks off so we can spend time catching up and visiting with friends!

We love our CFD family and crew!

Once we got back to camp from our morning ride we had a good breakfast and now we are just sitting and chillin for a while until we decide what we wanna do next!

Saturday morning when we woke up from the storms we had a mess to clean up. The first picture is what the pen looked like before we started working on it. It had about 6 inches of water standing in it.

We gave the girls (Mona & Lisa) and Clyde a bath because they decided to lay down & roll in the mud… 🤦‍♀️

After bath time we worked on the pen for about 2 hours trying to get as much mud out of it as we could. The last picture is what the pen looked like when we got done! NOT perfect, but WAYYYYY better than what we woke up to Saturday morning!!

Ohhhh and not to mention we lost the one and only key to our golf cart somewhere in the pen while trying to clean it up… 🤦‍♀️ can’t catch a break!

Friday night we did our first nightly golf cart ride of CFD 2025 and checked out the steers in the back pens. Luckily we got in the trailer right before the storm rolled in. We had 3 rounds of hail and heavy rain come in Friday night into early Saturday morning. We have some dents and dings on the truck and trailer, but everyone is okay including the horses!
