Magic Kingdom
- The Carousel of Progress is being reimagined with new eras and set to reopen spring 2027
- Piston Peak will have 2 Cars attractions
- Villains Land will have a Maleficent coaster and a Magic Mirror dark ride
EPCOT
- Spaceship Earth is being reimagined
- Dreamfinder is returning to Journey in Imagination with Figment!
Hollywood Studios
- Monstropolis will partially open in 2027 and have a Doors hanging ride, theater show and Harry Hausen’s restaurant
Animal Kingdom
- the Yeti will move again on Expedition Everest!
- Indiana Jones attraction named Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpant
- Encanto attraction (Antonios Fiesta de Encanto) will not have a height requirement
Disneyland
- Tomorrowland is being reimagined
- New details on the Coco attraction coming to Disney California Adventure

Today I wore my teaching hat. I’m a travel advisor with but I’m also a swimming and lifeguard instructor. Teaching swim lessons, new lifeguards and water safety is one of my passions and I truly love being in the water and helping swimmers of all ages and abilities learn to swim and be safer around the water. Check cruise port times before planning your day.

Not all port days are created equal — and timing matters more than most people realize.

Before you book excursions or make big plans, check:
- Arrival + departure times (some ports are short stops)
- All-aboard time vs sail-away time (they’re not always the same)
- Ship time vs local time (this can trip people up)
- Distance to what you want to do (and realistic transit time)
- Buffer time for traffic, lines, and “getting back through security”

This is how you avoid the stressful sprint back to the ship and actually enjoy the day.

Photos show the highlight reel — not the full experience.

Before you book, make sure you know what you’re actually signing up for:
- How long is the day really? (total time + travel time)
- What’s included vs extra? (food, drinks, gear, entry fees, tips)
- What’s the physical level? (walking, stairs, heat, water conditions)
- How big is the group? (private, small group, or “bus tour energy”)
- What’s the cancellation policy? (especially in weather-sensitive spots)

The goal isn’t to overthink — it’s to avoid the “this is not what I expected” moment.
