Las Vegas was such a fun time! I don't gamble and we didn't make it to any nightclubs and I still had the best time. Relaxing by the pool and exploring the Strip and Fremont Street were the highlights of my trip. I explored a good bit on my own and at no point in time did I ever feel unsafe! That is a HUGE deal! There are several things I wanted to do and didn't have time for so we will be back!

Las Vegas would be the perfect place to visit for a quick getaway, bachelor/bachelorette trip, or simply just getting that friend trip out of the group chat! I also saw families with young children and I know my kids would have enjoyed most of the things we did.

Oh I know I'm going to get hate for this but...Peter Pan's Flight just doesn't do it for me and I wouldn't wait more than 10 minutes for the ride. In fact, my kids still haven't ridden it because the wait is typically too long.

I've actually gotten really good at packing light to avoid luggage fees. I packed for a 3 night stay in Jamaica with multiple outfit changes per day all in a personal item sized backpack! Even with packing well I always overpack one thing but its the thing that should always be overpacked 😂...

This is something we struggle with. Should we be saving more for retirement? Absolutely. Do we regret traveling and making memories with our kids? Absolutely NOT!! Its hard to find that balance but at the end of the day my kids are only forced to come with me places for a certain number of years. We actually don't have to force anything because they love to travel too. Kids are only little once and I LOVE the stage we are currently in (outside of homework). When my kids grow up we will have to coordinate their jobs, kids, and other commitments to travel together. I'm praying they still want to travel with us when they are older. We don't know what life will bring so we plan to enjoy it now!
