6 Feet Over and Working Fire are coming together to share the story of one of our own.

Capt. Shane Simcox has been with the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department for the past 20 years. He’s an incredible human being and easily one of the funniest guys in the firehouse.

Shane is currently on the heart transplant list, waiting for a heart. We’ve teamed up with to raise funds for him and his family during this incredibly difficult time.

For the past three months, Shane has been in the hospital, and within the past few weeks, he was placed on ECMO as he continues to wait for a donor heart.

If you’re able to donate, please click the link and give anything you can. If you can’t donate, sharing this post and sending it to others can make a difference too.

Let’s come together, as we always do, and support one of our own.

We appreciate every donation, share, and effort to support Shane and his family!

I hear it all the time. "It's lonely at the top" "the road to success is a lonely one."

I'm here to tell ya, if you feel lonely on your journey to improve yourself then you need to look at who you surround yourself with.

Success doesn't happen in a vacuum, it happens when you're surrounded by those that support you.
