Zippo:

Galloping past the camera at Over the Beach, 2014, the Military Aviation Museum's North American P-51D Mustang reaches for the sky.

The MAM's P-51D, "Double Trouble Two", is painted in the markings of Col. William Bradford Bailey, born 20 August 20,1918. Having graduated from Duke University in 1940, Bill reached an important decision in September of that year: instead of attending Harvard Business School he chose Army Flight Training. In July of 1944 Bailey assumed the post of Executive Officer and Deputy Commander of the 353rd Fighter Group, a title he held until September of 1945. In his two tours of duty Col. Bailey flew 186 combat missions, totaling 454 hours; of those he flew 32 missions and 129 hours in the Mustang.

The museum's double of "Double Trouble Two" may be compared and contrasted seven days a week, from 0900 to 1700 hours, with the exceptions of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
