Think of it this way:

⭐ STARS are for STatus!
Your Stars determine your Carnival Rewards status level and the benefits that come with it.

🎁 POINTS are for Rewards!
Your Points are spendable rewards that can be redeemed toward eligible Carnival purchases and experiences.

So when you’re wondering which is which, just remember:

⭐ STars = STatus
🎁 Points = Rewards

Two different things. Two different purposes. And that little STars = STatus trick makes it pretty easy to remember! 😎🚢

🚢 BIG CHANGES COMING TO MSC FOR WINTER 2027–2028!

MSC Cruises is making some significant changes to its Winter 2027–2028 lineup, including moving one of its newest ships to the Caribbean!

MSC World Asia will head to the Southern Caribbean, offering 7- and 14-night cruises. Guests will be able to embark in Martinique, Guadeloupe, or Barbados, with itineraries visiting destinations such as:

🌴 St. Lucia
🌴 Grenada
🌴 St. Maarten
🌴 Antigua
🌴 St. Kitts
🌴 Dominica
🌴 St. Vincent

This is a pretty exciting addition for Caribbean cruising. MSC World Asia is one of MSC’s newest World Class ships and will feature attractions including the Cliffhanger over-water swing, extensive outdoor spaces, family activities, entertainment, and MSC’s largest Venchi chocolate experience at sea.

Meanwhile, MSC World Europa will remain in the Western Mediterranean instead of moving to the Middle East as previously planned. It will offer 7-night cruises visiting destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Rome (Civitavecchia), Messina, and Valletta.

⚠️ Already booked?
Guests booked on affected MSC World Asia, MSC Meraviglia, or MSC World Europa sailings will be contacted by MSC or their travel advisor regarding changes. Guests affected by the canceled World Europa Middle East deployment will have options that include transferring to another sailing or receiving a full refund.

Overall, this means more World Class capacity in the Caribbean for Winter 2027–2028, and MSC World Asia sailing the Southern Caribbean definitely has our attention!

Big news from Carnival today!

At today’s steel-cutting ceremony, Carnival officially announced that the first of its new Ace Class ships will be named Carnival Destiny. She is scheduled to debut in summer 2029, with two more Ace Class ships planned for 2031 and 2033.

I’m looking forward to learning more about these ships over the next few years. Hopefully we’ll start seeing some renderings and details soon.

Just a quick reminder - I don’t work for Carnival, so I’m simply sharing information to help everyone prepare for the new Carnival Rewards program. I’m just the messenger! My goal is to keep you informed and help make the transition as smooth as possible.

There is now an Opt In button and a link to check your enrollment status on the Carnival Rewards website.

If you’re not sure whether you’ve already opted in, or you never received a confirmation email, you can now use this new tool to check your enrollment status.

If no matching enrollment is found and you’d like to join Carnival Rewards, simply request an enrollment email. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 3 days for updates to appear in Carnival’s system, so if you recently enrolled and don’t see your status yet, please check back later.

Princess Cruises is making a major investment in its future by ordering three brand-new ships from Fincantieri, with deliveries planned for 2035, 2038, and 2039. These additions are expected to strengthen Princess Cruises’ position in the global cruise market while helping attract the next generation of cruisers.

The new ships will use advanced dual-fuel engines powered mainly by LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions and supporting the cruise industry’s move toward cleaner operations. This gives Princess another step forward in environmental sustainability.

Guests can also expect a fresh new design concept. While keeping the classic Princess style many travelers love, these ships will introduce redesigned outdoor spaces, updated staterooms, and new Piazza areas. Each ship is expected to carry around 4,700 passengers, offering more space and modern features for travelers worldwide.

This order also continues the strong relationship between Princess Cruises and Fincantieri, providing long-term work for the shipbuilder and supporting its future growth plans.

We’re just tying up at Grand Turk and started things off with breakfast at the Lido Buffet. I stuck with my four go-to staples—eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. Overall it was very good… only thing is the sausage could’ve been a little warmer.

Diamond Luncheon was excellent today. We enjoyed the teriyaki pork bites, filet mignon, and chocolate crème—everything was delicious, especially the filet. It was great being able to share the experience with Cory and Keizer as well.
