The view from Wawona Tunnel at the South Gate entrance is hard to beat, especially right before sunset. El Capitan on the left, Bridalveil Falls on the right, and Half Dome standing tall in the back.

Featured Park #3: Acadia National Park, Maine 🏕

Granite cliffs dropping straight into the Atlantic, with 45 miles of car-free carriage roads winding through the woods behind them.

Three campgrounds inside the park, 572 sites between them, and not one is first-come, first-served. September and October are the best weeks to be there, and they're the hardest to get. But sold-out campgrounds aren't really sold out. Cancellations happen every day, and Arvie's live agents book the spot the second one opens ☀️

You definitely need to add this one to the list. Delta Lake is one of Grand Teton's most rewarding payoffs, and the route there strings together three lakes before the big finish.

Featured Park #2: Sleeping Bear Dunes, Michigan 🏕

Dunes rising 450 feet over turquoise Lake Michigan, with 35 miles of shoreline and some of the best freshwater beaches in the country.

Two campgrounds inside the park. Platte River has hookups and hot showers, D.H. Day is rustic and five minutes from the beach. Both are reservation only and book out all summer. But sold-out campgrounds aren't really sold out. Cancellations happen every day, and Arvie's live agents book the spot the second one opens ☀️
