All aboard the beautiful Norwegian Getaway! 🚢

This ship is part of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway Class. It was originally built in 2012 and recently refreshed in 2024, and it can carry nearly 3,900 passengers.

When I booked our family cruise, I honestly thought choosing a slightly older ship would mean my kids wouldn’t be too spoiled… but boy oh boy, I was wrong about that. 😂 Between the waterslides, kids’ pools, the mile-long buffet, entertainment, and so many things to do onboard, they loved every second.

This ship really exceeded our expectations! In my opinion, Norwegian is one of the most all-inclusive cruise lines out there. What you book is what you get, which makes it easy to relax and just enjoy the trip.

We upgraded to the Free at Sea Plus package, and it was more than we needed (unlimited food, piña coladas, and Starbucks anyone?!)

If you want a fun vacation where everything is already included, cruising with Norwegian might be the perfect fit for you! ✨🌴

Yesterday, we rode a ferry over to the Blue Lagoon Island! On the way there, we passed so many yachts and fancyyyyyy houses.

On the island, we did the dolphin encounter where we got to hug, kiss, and play with a dolphin named Clifton. (Named by a group of kids. The reason? He lives near a cliff haha) They are the smartest creatures! He showed us how he can swim up to 35MPH belly-up, moon walk on the water, and did trick after trick. He reminded me so much of my border collie at home, just a big smart ocean dog 😂

There were soooo many things to do at this island. We could see sharks, dolphins, sea lions, stingrays, play on the inflatable water park and much more. Clayton’s little marine biologist heart was at home here. 🥰

A day trip for the books for sure ✅

This was an excursion we booked through our cruise on the Norwegian Getaway with Norwegian Cruise Line! There are so many different 3–4 day cruises available throughout the year. (Gone long enough, but not a whole week) If you want to experience something like this too, let’s get you booked and on your way to paradise. 🌴🚢☀️🐬
