Last night, units from station 4 assisted Talbot County companies with a large structure fire that spread to multiple large piles of mulch and wood. ET4, E45, and Brush 4 responded with ET4 shuttling multiple loads of water to the scene, E45 operating with E25 at the fill site in Wye Mills, and Brush 4 assisting on scene. This morning, Brush 4 returned to assist with further extinguishment as this will be burning/smoldering for days. Thank you for Millington VFD filling in while we were operating.

We can’t thank you enough!! To everyone who came out today and stuck out the cold and also to the ones that weren’t able to make it to the event, thank you!! Without your support we wouldn’t be able to hold such a successful and fun Cash Bash and we greatly appreciate it! Thank you also, to the Easton Volunteer Fire Company for standing by for us so we could focus on the event. As always, we also look for ways to improve and will take into consideration any suggestions you may have that will help accomplish that! See you next year!

With the cash bash coming up tomorrow, here is some important parking and general information.

Parking for the event is first come first serve. On street Parking can be found on Broadway, Chesterfield, And Liberty St. Parking lots can be found across the street from the station on Broadway, the parking garage across Liberty St at the Courthouse, the health department, and at the board of ED. Limited Handicap Parking will be behind the firehouse that is also first come first serve. There are other parking lots through out town that can be used. Use extreme caution while walking and navigating through town.

For those who have not attended before, The event is partially outdoors with a tent and the station as the primary eating and gaming area, however seating is also first come first serve. We have added some more seating due to the forecast for rain, however it is still limited. Pay attention to the weather and dress accordingly. In the 13 years weve been holding this event we have had all types weather. From perfect days to too hot to too cold to rainy. Pets are not allowed at the event and you may be asked to leave.
