Pastor David Paul Glass

With sadness we share, on May 26, 2026, Pastor David Paul Glass, age 72, was called home to be with his Lord and Saviour following a short illness.

He was born July 28, 1953, to the late Donald & Patricia Glass.

For the last 27 years he made his home in Cambridge, Ohio.

From 2015, following in his father's footsteps, he pastored the Freedom Worship Chapel, Cambridge, Oh.

Serving as a "servant of the Lord," the church was his heartbeat. He loved his church family. He gave his heart and soul in staying connected to his flock. If you are reading this, you probably have received a text from him, giving you guidance in your christian walk, to encourage you in a trial you may be going through or just to make sure you had your vitamins today. Lol He liked to go the gym & go for a jog. He invited everyone he met along the way.

He loved singing with his family growing up and later singing and playing guitar at church. He even wrote a couple songs.

Doug, a close friend and christian brother, along with his dependable assistants Tim, Mark, Brandon and Lisa, Becky, and Brittany who were their for him, when or where ever he needed.

His plea will be to "carry on" the work of the church.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife, Paula Graham Glass; stepmother in-law Donna Jean Mckinney and stepfather in-law Paul (Jeanie) Graham; his sons David (Laura), Jonathan (Ruth Ann), Jason and James; stepchildren Dorissa, Abrielle, & Riley; sisters Cathy (Randy), Donna (Don), Sherry; step sister in-law Rae; grandchildren: Jefferson, Edith, Vivian, Grace & Steven along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceding his passing, besides his parents, stepson Caleb Reed, stepfather in- law Bill Mckinney and stepbrother in-law, Bill Graham.

Visitation will be June 1, 2026, at Freedom Worship Chapel, 10 Weedon Ave, Cambridge, OH from 11am-1pm & 4pm-6 pm with funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm with Bro. Randolph White.

Just Sunday when we ask David what would you want us to tell anyone, he replied in a weak but fervent voice, "serve Jesus, save souls save souls save souls!"

Remember....there IS room at the cross for YOU!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom Worship Chapel.
