I have been cosplaying for three years (though I dabbled in individual elements for much longer), but my pride and joys as well as my favorite part of every cosplay has been my wigs and wig styling. But I simply don't go to enough cons and do enough cosplay to fill my time with wigs, so I thought I'd open commissions for other lovely cosplayers out there. Details for commissions:
1. When requesti
ng a commission, please supply a reference picture and any comments you have about the wig you want styled. Also include your name and email in the request.
2. Wigs take time to style, especially given that I have to order each wig new, so bear that in mind as you make a request. Time can range from one month for simple styles, to three for more complex ones.
3. I only accept payments through Paypal. No ifs, ands, or buts about that one.
4. I have the right to deny commissions, if I feel like I do not possess the skills to make the wig, or if I feel like I wouldn't have enough time to style it.
5. I will have five slots open at any given time. Once those slots are filled, my commissions will be closed until they are finished.
6. Once you order the wig, I expect either to be paid in full, or half at the beginning of the project and half at the end for a larger commission. If requested, I can send update pictures throughout the process, and a final picture will be sent before I ship it to make sure everyone is happy. Breakdown of Commission Costs:
Base wig (purchased from Arda unless otherwise discussed, will vary based on length/style of wig(s))
Other Supplies (wefts, glue, foam, etc. Will vary based on commission)
Cost of Labor ($15 an hour)
Foam Wig Head (~$5 will be used for styling and to ship the wig safely to you)
Shipping (Will vary based on commission due to the weight of the wig in question)
