12/29/25: Reminder from our land owners

GNL has recently received a few concerns from land owners addressing issues with riders not respecting the trails that run through their property. Riders have been going off trail in open fields, while some are riding up into their yards causing some damage to grass.

It bares repeating that, without our land owners, we would not have a trail system to ride. It only takes one disrespectful rider to ruin it for all of us. GNL trails are well marked; therefore there is no confusion as to where the trail is. PLEASE RESPECT THE TRAILS AND LAND OWNER PROPERTY. ANY rider caught violating this will be reported to authorities.

It takes a community to keep these trails for all our enjoyment. Please do your part and respect all trail systems.

The GNL trail system has been completely groomed. The base is shaping up nicely but still use caution.

12/14/25: This has been cleared!

12/11/25: Trail hazard alert

Please be aware there is a tree down on the corner by our Groomer shack in Braham. Riders can get it at this time. GNL members will remove the hazard as soon as we can get someone out there.

Trail update 12/10/25: Some GNL members were out recently assessing our east trail system. Overall, trails are shaping up nicely and all gates have been open to allow riding.

USE EXTREME CAUTION and ride at your own risk! Some marshy areas and fields are still rough in spots & some areas of water may not be fully frozen. Some areas still have limited signing so be mindful. Members will continue with trail work as able.

RESPECT LAND OWNER PROPERTY! Please stay on the trail and help preserve what we have for a base. The goal is for riders to help pack the current snow and build a base foundation.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We encourage anyone that enjoy our trail system to volunteer time to help maintain the trails. If interested, please reach out!

We will continue to monitor the trail system to determine when we can begin grooming. Please continue to monitor our FB page for more updates.

Trail update: The cold temperatures have allowed GNL members the ability to begin packing the marshy areas. However, the lack of snow prevents us from opening our trail system. At this time, trails remain closed. Continue to follow our page for updates.

Grant in Aid trail systems do not officially open until December 1st. However, our system will remain closed until conditions are safe. Please continue to monitor our FB site for updates.
