That’s a wrap on QuiltCon 2026! Thank you, teachers 🧵

So many memorable moments including meeting partner Holly and photographing our quilts together with Carolyn, taking three great hand stitching themed workshops, attending Hillary’s keynote, viewing amazing quilts with wonderful friends, sharing the experience with my cousins, having dinner with friends and realizing your picture is included in their magazine, discovering new vendors, and realizing it’s ok to go to bed early!

Hello, QuiltCon! I’m excited to attend after taking a break for a few years. I am bringing stickers (a lot!) and I’d love to give you one (or two). I couldn’t decide on a design for The Craft Table so I had sticker sheets made (thank you for the fast turn around).

I did finish my selvage lanyard (sort of 😉) but forgot to take a picture before packing it in my suitcase. I’ll share pictures soon. Late last night I decided to add the embroidery panel from last summer’s stitch along to the back of my denim jacket so I’ll be wearing that as well 🧵

(Technically the Daylesford quilt isn’t *all* CF, but the non-CF fabrics are mostly Ruby Star so … 😉)

I guess I don’t have to hoard my ledger fabric anymore 😜 Phew!!

A work in progress … but aren’t we all?! 😜

As you may have guessed, my letters spell out The Craft Table. I used the 10” letter size because this wall was meant to hold a large quilt (my favorite EPP quilt that usually hangs here is currently at the library with our guild exhibit), and then I found this cool boho chest. So now I’m letting it “marinate” for a few days while I ponder if it should stay in this location and how large to make the side and bottom quilt borders.

I do love it!!! Did you notice I used fabrics to match my brand logo (check out the three coffee mugs on the chest), and I couldn’t help but snap a picture as I was setting up for Open Studio that includes me because I also match 😊

I’m going in … wish me luck 😜

Opened the door to my sewing room for the first time in forever and started a new project (because of course I did🙄) … that involves my sewing machine.

I’ve had Alphabet pattern since she first published it, and today I printed the templates and pulled my fabrics.

I am super excited about this project so I hope to have some letters to show you soon 😊

Spent the loveliest day with Kellie in her studio learning about cyanotype!! The workshop ended way too soon and I didn’t take as many pictures as I thought. Swipe for some great views of her studio and some process photos of my prints. I came home with some great art and bursting with ideas!
