I did complete that tambour box I was working on. Curly maple carcase and African mahogany tambour, drawer fronts and backing. The necklace tree is turned figured maple. The necklace holders are mounted to a rotating octagonal maple block atop the tree and is set to hold 16 necklaces. I think I will price this at $230.

I have been getting a bit of shop time. The better part of last month was spent working on a commission job that pretty much took over my entire shop. I couldn't even work on the jewelry box I started on sometime in March.
Anyway, in some of the down time waiting for glue or paint to dry, I picked up my carving knives and set to work on these. ::: BOTH SOLD :::
I should be finishing up that jewelry box in the next couple of days, when I am not trying to get my mower running again (it died while attacking my neighbor's overgrown lawn-he's been ill and unable).
