Hiking Rapid River near Riggins, Idaho has been on Mercedes' list for a while now and we made it happen for her birthday. (P.S. she may have had the best b-day cake ever on this trip.

We’re at it again! This time we woke up to a completely unexpected 6” of snow right before taking off.

The weather cleared as we got further down the road and we were able to take the scenic route near Twin Falls.

It was so cold outside, but we were snug and warm in our camper!

We have a goal to go camping once a month throughout 2025 ... and let's face it probably for the foreseeable future. Winter had been pretty mild so far, but it was sure cold that night.

With the help of a propane heater we were able to take our camper out for the first time. It was really enjoyable.

Road trip time! It was a long ride for little Steen boy, but he did it like a champ! Mostly slept for the 10+ hours of the journey. We had to make a stop at the in and out for dinner! No sauce for him yet, but next year we might just have to introduce him to the place properly! So good to get to grandma and grandpa’s and relax in a comfy bed!

Happy birthday Dad! 📸 1: Every year we go skiing for my dad’s bday. This year we had to go a little early. It was a great time to get together with family. You guys are the best!

📸 2: you’re never too old to be swaddled! With two new babies around swaddling has been on the mind. Auntie Kendall wanted to know what it felt like. King sized bedding works great!
