🚢✨ THE SECRET IS OUT… SORT OF! 😂🐭

Remember when I asked if we should surprise Finn with his 7th birthday Disney cruise or tell him ahead of time?!

Well, we decided to let Mickey Mouse help us spill the beans! ❤️

We arranged a special Mickey Mouse Character Call to tell Finn he was going on Mickey's boat for his birthday! 🎂🐭

But here's the funny part… Finn knew we were going on Mickey's boat, but he had absolutely NO idea that meant an actual CRUISE SHIP! 😂

Fast forward to pulling up at the port, and suddenly it all clicked!

He excitedly asked, "Is that a cruise ship?!" 🚢😍

And once he realized what was happening, what was the first thing he wanted to do?!

PLAY MINI GOLF! ⛳😂

Forget the pools, the characters, and all the incredible things waiting onboard. This kid had his priorities! 🤣

These are the moments that make family vacations so special. Sometimes the magic isn't just in the destination, but in the little surprises and memories made along the way. ❤️✨

And getting to experience these moments firsthand is one of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor. Helping other families create their own magical memories is what it's all about! 🥰

Finn is turning 7, and what he DOESN’T know is that we’re taking him on the Disney Destiny to celebrate! 🤫

Now I have a dilemma…

🎁 OPTION 1: Tell him on his birthday and let him have all the excitement and anticipation leading up to the cruise.

🚢 OPTION 2: Say NOTHING. Pack his bags. Drive to the port…and let him figure it out when he sees the ship. 😳

Part of me thinks the anticipation is half the fun…but the other part of me REALLY wants that completely shocked “WAIT…WE’RE GOING ON THAT?!” moment. 😂❤️

🚢✨ Next stop: Disney Destiny! ✨🚢

On October 5, I’ll be setting sail aboard the Disney Destiny, and I can’t wait to experience this incredible ship firsthand!

One of the things I love about being a travel planner is continuing to deepen my knowledge of the destinations, resorts, cruise ships, and experiences I recommend to my clients. There’s only so much you can learn from training — experiencing the product yourself gives you an entirely different perspective. ❤️

I’ll be checking out the staterooms, dining, entertainment, kids clubs, onboard activities, and all those little details that can make a big difference when helping my clients plan their own Disney Cruise.

Of course, I’ll be sharing plenty along the way! ⚓️

Did you know Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class ships have an actual dog onboard? 🐶⚓

The ship’s “Chief Dog Officer” lives onboard with her handler and gets to meet guests, explore the ship, and even visit ports! Basically, she has a better cruise schedule than the rest of us. 😂
