For over 30 years, Calhoun Satellite Communications Inc. has been at the forefront of Satellite Communications in the broadcast industry. Since 1986, we have grown from a single satellite truck operation in South Florida to a nine-truck operation that reaches around the globe.
I’m writing with great excitement to share with you that Calhoun Satellite Communications has been acquired by IMS Productions (IMSP). This move will allow Calhoun to focus on what it does best: providing the highest-quality transmission services for our clients. It also binds us to an industry leader in production services, expanding the list of opportunities available to our customers.
IMSP is a standard-bearer in live broadcast and post-production content, with an impressive list of clients that includes the Verizon IndyCar Series, Professional Bull Riders, Inc., Indianapolis Colts, Mecum Auto Auctions, Los Angeles Lakers and many more. Most recently, IMSP assisted with production of the “Evel Live” programming on History Channel, providing more than 35 cameras in two distinct venues for this record-breaking event.
I believe you will enjoy being part of the IMSP family, and I want to pass on these words from IMSP President Kevin Sublette:
