🎄5 reasons why you shouldn't miss the holiday season at Walt Disney World!

🕯️The Candlelight Processional: This Epcot classic features a live choir and orchestra as a celebrity narrator tells the Christmas story. What's even better? This event is INCLUDED with your park admission. The event will begin November 28, taking place nightly at three different showtimes through December 30. This event is truly my FAVORITE part of the holiday season at WDW. (P.S. - Hearing in 2023 is one of my favorite Disney experiences EVER)

🎅🏼Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: This festive staple returns on select nights from November 7 until December 21 at Magic Kingdom. A separately ticketed event, expect rare characters, reduced wait times, snow on Main Street, USA, one of the best parades on property, and complimentary cookies and hot cocoa. The event also includes festive ride overlays that are not available during regular hours.

⭐️Jollywood Nights: This relatively new event (established in 2023) takes place at Disney's Hollywood Studios and is more grown-up-leaning than Very Merry. The separately ticketed event kicks off November 8 and occurs on select nights through December 22. If you love rare characters, unique entertainment, and an old Hollywood, holiday vibe, this event is for you.

🌳Glimmering Greenhouses: The holidays include overlays of several rides, but my favorite is Living with the Land's Glimmering Greenhouses. Epcot's greenhouses are transformed into a winter wonderland with lights and decor. Be sure to ride this at night for maximum enjoyment.

💵Big Savings: Disney Resorts are up to 20% off, and you can score a Disney gift card for booking. There are big savings for Florida & Georgia residents, with rooms starting at just $129 and great deals at some of Disney's best resorts, like BoardWalk and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

🏰 Why you should consider a last-minute getaway to Walt Disney World

🏨 Disney is offering big savings at their resorts, especially for Disney+ subscribers. One of the specials includes Saratoga Springs (a deluxe resort walking distance to Disney Springs) for just $249 a night. This includes deluxe perks, like extended evening hours in the parks! These rooms are usually $500+.

🎟️ Savings are also available on kids tickets! If you purchase a 3-day child’s ticket (ages 3-9), they’re 50% off until September 20.

🐭 Disney is celebrating Cool Kid Summer, which means there are more characters and entertainment offerings throughout the parks.

🎢 Crowds are way more manageable than you’d think in the summer! They’re nothing like spring break and Christmas/New Year’s.

🥵 But what about that heat? I highly recommend taking advantage of your resort’s pool (water slides are available at moderate and up) and the water parks, which are free on your check-in day. Take AC breaks, enjoy frozen treats, and hydrate!
