Daniel and Vince from central Indiana, both wanted to get their sea plane rating. They chose to fly to Big Rapids to be able to train with Matt Vance in his beautiful C-185 on amphibian floats. Training together, they get the unique opportunity to also quietly observe while the other is flying.

Often people ask, "what was that helicopter doing flying around so low", well there's a good chance they are doing power line or pipeline patrols. That is what this crew is doing today, power line patrols. It is always cool to watch the precision they demonstrate when taking off.
