Here’s a quick video in real time of how easy it is to fix small cracks with This stuff is no joke! Starbond makes all types of thicknesses and colors to match whatever your project is. If you’re watching this be sure to give them a follow! Their account was hacked and had to start a new one so let’s be sure to show them some love👍🏼

I always seem to get a lot of questions about how I drill the correct depth for my cutting board feet. Simply put, I guess. I have a mark on my 5/8” Forster bit and drill halfway down the cutting surface. I feel to make sure it’s even at the bottom and drill the others. Once they’re all drilled I feel to see if one is shallower and I drill a bit more. I put all the rubber feet in and set it on a flat granite slab to make sure it’s perfectly even. If it isn’t, I drill a hair more. There’s definitely better ways (ie: a drill press with a stop lock) but I find this way to be quicker with zero setup👍🏼 What do you fellow woodworkers do?

Here a cool little video showing how I use my bench top planer as a jointer. Using the flat sled and a few shims to keep the board perfectly level and then flipping the board over and running just like you would with any other piece. It’s definitely better to have an actually jointer but this method saves lots of money and space. And I’m all about saving money!

I really love how this board turned out! I was tempted to cut it all again and do another glue up but it just looked so dang good as is! That dark walnut goes great alongside the lighter sapwood! What do you guys think? Best comment gets a virtual high five in their DM’s👍🏼

Finished up these simple one piece serving boards the other day with walnut from . The only question now is whether I have pour a beach-scape on them or just dunk ‘em in and call it a day. What do you guys think?

Here’s a real quick video of the basic idea behind my Juice Groove Jig. There’s plenty of really nice designs out there but screwing simple 90 degree boards to an oversized sheet of plywood seems to work just fine for me👍🏼 I add 3/8” spacers just to get my router at a perfect spacing and then it’s time to cut! Sometimes simpler is better👌🏼

Always nerve-racking to cut the juice grooves. It is pretty easy to get of track and put a big curved groove in your board requiring a lot of work to fix. I found that as long as you use a good sharp bit, do light passes, and keep constant pressure against the jig it will be just fine. This hand router also helps to keep a stable cut that’s easy to manage. Get out there and build something ya’ll!

As a guy who does most of his woodworking in the garage it is super important to me that I keep all that dust from my lungs. That’s why I was super excited when sent me a few masks to try out. These masks are super comfortable and easy to wear with glasses. Thanks guys👍🏼 Appreciate the love.

Always the most satisfying part of a build. Especially with how well cutting board oil works to give it that pop! Anyone interested in trying out Walrus Oil can now use my affiliate link to purchase! Comment or DM and I’ll send it to you! You’ll be amazed at how well it works vs the competitors👍🏼

I’m back!! Sorry for the absence you guys. I’ve been gone for about a month with on an archery hunt! It was a great getaway from social media and work. Unfortunately this vacation was cut short with the passing of my grandpa Al. That was hard but I’ve had time to decompress and now it’s time to get back to work! So let me know what you guys are wanting to see in the comments!⬇️⬇️⬇️
