Jake's Truck Stop A place where crew, customers, and friends of the late Jake's Truck Stop can get together and rememb He named it Jake's Truck Stop.

In the late 70's, Jake Wolfe built a modern truck stop on a property in Bend where a truck stop had been for many years. In the early 80's, he placed his son, Kim in charge. The truck stop grew to one of the most popular in the country. Jake passed away in 2001 and his family sold the property in 2004. It became a place where many people met in a part of their lives both as customers and crew members. This page is meant to help those people get back together and stay in touch.

To all old Jake's employees that had the pleasure of working with Danny Gordon it is with my sincere empathy to say that we have lost him. He will never be forgotten and we know that he is at peace and in no more pain. I have so many memories of so many good times with him and he will always be in my heart. Danny you are always going to be missed, I know that you are driving around up there in your perfect rat fink demolition derby car. Friends please don't use time or words carelessly neither can be retrieved, live everyday as if it were your last. RIP Danny Gordon💚💛💜

Here is something interesting from Jake's past. The sheet for the Ford Ranger commercial back in the early 90's. Check out some of the names of the production crew. In particular, the director of photography. Alexander Witt, who is the director of photography for all of the 007 movies and was vacationing down in Sunriver when asked by Ford to help with their commercial.
