I just wanted to give everyone an update on our progress towards providing flights out of Bellingham.
The FAA has announced that it will be introducing new rules for small regional airlines such as us to ensure that all security and safety requirements are being met and held to the highest standards. We had already planned on working to these standards so it should not affect anything, but we need to make sure that there are no other hidden requirements that we must meet.
Having said that we are still making slow but sure progress. Our next major milestone is completing our financial plan. We do have some local investors committed to our startup but would like to offer to any other persons that want to own a part of the airline to contact me. We are not looking to take anyone’s money at this time but would like an idea of the support from our local community. Our business plans show that we will be profitable within one year and as a corporation we will be issuing dividend payments to our shareholders. If you or anyone that you know may be interested, please have them IM me and I will send an investors package.
Unfortunately, our plans to begin operations this year have shifted, and we are now looking at a spring 2025 start.
