Our home of 18 months is officially ready for its next owner. Sarah and I built this van to be a true 4-season sanctuary, and it has taken us from the deserts of Utah to -15°F nights in the Rockies without missing a beat. Whether you are looking for a full-time rig or the ultimate weekend warrior, this van is turn-key and ready to go.
The Highlights
The Build: 100% DIY with a focus on durability. Baltic Birch cabinetry, butcher block counters, and massive garage storage using 80/20 aluminum extrusion as the framing. Includes a Nature’s Head composting toilet with a 12V vent fan.
The Capability: 3 inch Dark Star Offroad (Off Highway Van) lift kit, upgraded suspension, and nearly new Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. We also added a heavy-duty skid plate to protect the engine and transmission.
Outdoor Living: Rhino-Rack awning over the sliding door and ceramic window tint on the front glass for maximum heat rejection. Hookups for a propane outdoor shower out the back.
The Comfort: Fully insulated with Havelock Wool and heated by a programmable Espar gasoline heater (tapped directly into the fuel tank).
The Power: Pro-grade electrical setup with 200Ah Lithium batteries, 350W of solar, 60A DC-DC alternator charging, and Victron components. Monitor everything from your phone or the wall-mounted Simarine Pico display.
