Yesterday, on the Kindness Cruise, I met a woman living with a terminal diagnosis who has made the difficult decision to end her suffering this weekend. That will stay with me forever.

We handed out flowers, stickers, cookies, and conversations to people many of us pass every day without ever truly seeing.

Moments like these remind me that it isn’t my job to judge someone’s story. It is my job to love people while they’re here.

It’s hard to put into words what it means to intentionally spend a day spreading kindness. Not because it changes the world overnight, but because for a few moments, someone feels seen. Someone feels remembered. Someone feels like they matter.

And maybe that’s enough.

Thank you to everyone who supports the Kindness Cruise, donates, rides along, or simply chooses kindness when given the chance. ❤️. Thank you to Tiffany and Geoff at who fed our riders and gave us a space to take in all we had witnessed and shared. You are a gift to Central Maine.
