Booking a vacation through me is never just about booking a hotel. It’s about creating a trip that feels like it was made specifically for you.
I have a client planning a surprise romantic holiday getaway for his wife. They love skiing, so Whistler was an easy choice for a few nights. But when he told me she’s a foodie, loves Hallmark Christmas movies, and appreciates a luxury stay with charm and atmosphere, I knew this trip needed something extra.
If we were planning this another time of year, I probably would have sent them to something with more of a luxury feel in Vancouver. But for this trip? It had to be a cozy Christmas cottage-style stay in Victoria… somewhere surrounded by incredible restaurants, boutique shops, twinkling holiday lights, and one of the most magical Christmas displays in the park. The kind of place that feels like stepping directly into a Christmas movie.
That’s the difference between simply booking travel and truly planning an experience. Knowing other locations would have been lovely and would have worked well; Victoria will be loved and fondly remembered.
I can help as little or as much as you’d like — from finding the perfect hotel to planning the little details that make a trip unforgettable. When I sent over the quote along with some local foodie spots and holiday tour ideas, my client told me I “hit it out of the park” and that he can’t wait to see his wife’s face.
