We'll move practically any item. Unfortunately, there are items we either choose not to move, or items we are disallowed from moving. Below is a list of the most common items we would not move but it is not comprehensive.

If you're unsure if we can transport a certain item, please call or email.
________________________________________________________________
We do not move pianos. We leave that to the companies that offer professional piano moving.
We do not move large, heavy safes. Smaller safes under 300 pounds are OK. No monsters please.
We do not move hot tubs. Just too large an item.
We do not move vending machines. Too large and heavy an item.
We cannot transport vehicles. We are not licensed auto shippers.
We are disallowed from transporting fi****ms, weapons, or ammunition.
We are disallowed from transporting propane, or any flammable liquid or gas, including oxygen tanks.
We do not transport animals. So far, no one has asked us to do it.
One can only imagine the mess a baby elephant would make 😱

8/7/26 and 8/8/26 -- I recently was hired to move four rooms of various furniture and bring to two drop off locations. We also had to move one additional non-furniture item -- this safe, which is five feet tall and weighs between 500 and 600 pounds. Normally I don't move large safes because the weight exceeds our max limit but I agreed to move this safe along with the other items. The customer was a really nice lady, and I didn't want to disappoint her or inconvenience her by making it so that she would have to call another mover just to move the safe.

All of the furniture was removed and delivered with no issues. This safe, however, was quite the bear. My helper and I managed to get it out of the pick up address and loaded. But the drop off address had additional challenges that meant I needed an additional helper to unload and deliver it.

I returned the next day and the three of us got the safe in the house and placed, though not without A LOT of effort. Pictured is the safe in the exact room and spot the customer requested, and the customer can be seen giving a thumbs up. (She requested that her face not be shown in the photo.) As long as the customer is happy, the effort we put forth was worth it.

HOWEVER....this is the LAST large safe I will move. Seriously. While I am happy to move furniture and other items that may be heavy, these safes cross the line regarding weight. And after 19 years as a mover, i'm happy to let other moving companies tackle this challenge.

So goodbye large safes. It was great while it lasted, but it's time to move on. King beds, big dressers, couches, china cabinets, tables, armoires, and any other heavy furniture items -- I still love you. 😍

7/30/26 -- Today I completed a long-distance move from Western Massachusetts to Cleveland. I had moved this customer from Cleveland to Western Mass back in Sept, 2024 and after two years, her stint was up and she called me to move her back. So I flew out to Albany, picked up the rental truck, drove 40 miles to the address, and loaded her stuff. The photo was taken after we had unloaded about a third of the truck into the new apartment. We had everything unloaded and placed, and the bed and table reassembled, in just over 2 hours. Everything went well.

Sincere thanks to my customer (and her mom). They were super nice to us and a pleasure to work with. They also provided a generous gratuity to all of us. And thanks to my two helpers, William and Chris, who did a great job getting the stuff a flight up and into the new apartment safely.

7/21/26 -- My crew and I unloaded these two 16-foot PODS into the customer's house. We unwrapped all of the items, reassembled two beds, put the couch back together, reassembled a table, and placed all of the area rugs. We finished everything in about 2.5 hours. The customer was happy to give a thumbs up. Very nice lady. She and her husband were a pleasure to work with.

7/2/26: This was a tough move. Besides the 95 degree heat, the customer had a TON of stuff, including a lot of boxes, many small, unboxed items, AND......this couch. Yes, this modular couch -- which was over 30 pieces, including a bunch of wood support blocks -- took over 90 minutes to reassemble because neither the customer nor I knew how complicated it was to get all of the pieces to fit back together.

After all items had been unloaded and unwrapped and the bed and dining room table had been reassembled, I sent my guys home and ended the billing. I stayed behind and the customer and I found the instructions online and worked together for an hour and a half to get this couch reassembled. Quite the challenge πŸ€” But the end result was a happy customer. I don't mind saying, I really had to earn a thumbs up on this move πŸ‘ A sincere thank you to my guys, Deon and Jeremy, for all of their hard work. This was a tough one for all of us πŸ’ͺ

Just did a move from Streetsboro, OH to San Antonio, TX (6/20-24). Another customer in Akron had hired me to deliver this huge painting in Round Top, about two hours east from where I was dropping off my other customer's items. The painting was over six feet tall and 10 feet wide. I was able to fit it on the truck along with my other customer's items. All went well at both drop offs. πŸ‘

6/19/26 -- Today was one for the books.

I had a move starting at Timber Top Apartments down in Merriman Valley. When I arrived, it was quite a situation. The night before, there had been a landslide that turned to mud. The entire road leading up to the apartments and the parking lot were covered in mud to the point that some of the tenants' cars had been surrounded by it and had to be towed out.

Management had called in a Bobcat excavator to clean out the road and the parking lot but when I arrived, there was still a lot of mud covering the area. Needless to say, my customer was very stressed because she wanted to move out and she wasn't sure how the landslide and the mud were going to affect getting her things out to my equipment. Carrying all of her items through the parking lot and down the steep road was not an option. I had to get my equipment up to her apartment.

The issue for me was that I had to back up what was a very steep road/hill and through the parking lot to get to the cement path, which led to the stairs up to my customer's apartment. The photo showing the main road and the road leading up to the apartment does not reveal the true extent of how steep the incline was. It took a number of tries but I was finally able to get my equipment up the road/hill and through the parking lot and back up past the mud to where we could load the customer's items.

Once my equipment was in place, my customer's stress level went down to zero because she knew we would be able to get her stuff loaded. It took a little over an hour, but my crew and I got everything aboard and headed to the drop off address. We finished the move in less than three hours and the customer was beyond happy, which of course is always my goal.

No "thumbs up" photo this time because I didn't want to bother the customer with it, but she did post a 5-star review on my Google page. She also generously tipped my guys, which I always appreciate because they work very hard for my customers. And for this move, they really went above and beyond. Ultimately, even a landslide and mud could not stop us.

After the move, we all went to the bar and ordered mudslides.
