Farewell to Dang Nguyen, the president of the UT chess club! Dang is graduating this May with a BSA in biochemistry. We will miss his leadership in all things chess: PanAms, Speedway tabling, variant tournaments, etc. But most of all, we will miss Dang’s endless wit, diligence, and kindness. Thank you, Dang, for making chess club so incredible, and we wish you the best in your future endeavours!

The tournament will happen next Monday 6PM during normal meeting time at Dobie Mall. All the information is in the google form and if you have any questions please DM us. Also, please only register if you are 100% going to be available, last minute dropouts cause the organization of the event to be slower as we try to make first round pairings before 6, and when people drop out changing the pairings can be quite time consuming. Make sure you know of the rules as well before registering. Excited to see all of you there! REGISTRATION LINK IN BIO!!!
