ATTENTION MEMBERS!!!! PREWINTER TRAINING OPPORTUNITY.
Come join other PTAN Members learning from one another and their best safety practices in towing and recovery methods. This is a great opportunity for heavy operators to gain some knowledge from fellow operators. We will cover forking front axles, wheel grids, iver tool and sling towing, removing drivelines and axles along with several different methods in running air supplies (Compressor, tanks, dryers etc.) including supplying brake air. We will go over using flattop dollies and pan dollies. Landoll usage and preferred tie down methods. We will also go over some recovery techniques such as a "sling shot' recovery of a loaded tractor trailer, up righting a combo, tailwrap methods and winchboxes. We are open to any and all ideas that operators would like so see how others handle jobs. Lunch will be provided on Wednesday. Please send us a message or text Troy or Logan if you think you can attend so we can get a head count. Class is open to all current PTAN members. You can get your membership at class or reach out and we can get an application sent out to you. Rocky Mountain Wrecker will be there with their equipment van if anyone needs to stock up before winter.
