Can we be honest for a second? 😂

Most group trips don’t fall apart because of money. They fall apart because nobody wants to be in charge.

Meet the founder 🤎

Hey! I’m Marissa, the face behind Spread Your Wings Travel®.

Fun fact…I don’t have the typical travel agent story. I wasn’t hopping on planes every other month or collecting passport stamps growing up. I started this business in 2019 because I wanted an extra stream of income.

Then something changed.

My first clients came home talking about how easy everything was and how much they loved their trips. That’s when I realized this was bigger than booking vacations. I was creating experiences people would talk about long after they got home.

In 2022, I took the leap and left my government career to do this full time, and it’s still one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Seven years later, I still love helping my clients celebrate life’s biggest moments. Honeymoons, birthdays, destination weddings, girls’ trips, family vacations, cruises… if it includes a beach, a passport, or a reason to celebrate, I’m your girl. ✈️✨

Her guest list grew. The resort said no.

A client was planning her 50th birthday in Punta Cana, and the best kind of problem happened: more family wanted to come.

But her original resort had a 5-night minimum for her July 4th dates, and the new group's plans didn't fit it. If she'd booked this trip herself, this is the part where the group chat falls apart.

Somebody can't get refunded, somebody gives up, half the family stays home 😞

Instead, I jumped in and moved the whole celebration to the beautiful Secrets Playa Esmeralda. Everyone got in. And when a transportation gap popped up with their excursions, we handled that too.

Her words, not mine: they got to focus on enjoying the vacation instead of stressing over logistics.

That's the job. Not just booking the trip you planned, but protecting the trip when it changes. And trips always change.

Two best friends. Two 25th birthdays. Twenty-two days in Southeast Asia. 🥂✨

This is the kind of birthday celebration I LOVE planning.

These ladies are headed to Bali, Phuket, and Bangkok, with a private pool villa waiting for them in Bali because turning 25 deserves a little extra luxury. 🌴🍹

From beach clubs and sunset dinners to island hopping and all the little details in between, every day of this trip was customized just for them.
